Summer is in full swing and Airdrie Public Library’s regular seasonal programs are proving as popular as ever. This year, the Summer Reading Program continues to draw a crowd throughout the week and Fun Fridays are no exception. This Friday, APL plays host to magician and balloon sculptor extraordinaire TD Sparks and Wonderful Wally in an imaginative and entertaining Amusionist Show. Filled with magic, comedy and more, this show is a riot to watch.

There will be two shows: at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome; no registration is required.

Also this month, Knitters 101 is back! If you've ever wanted to learn how to knit, then this popular six-week introductory course is exactly what you're looking for. Knitters 101 will run Wednesdays, July 25 to Aug. 29. A $5 fee for materials, which will be outlined in the first class, will be charged.

Students are expected to buy materials that will be used for the completion of their knitting project.

The class – which is designed for adults – is limited to 10 people, so preregistration is required.

For more information on these or any of APL’s other programs, visit our website at www.aridriepubliclibrary.ca or call 403-948-0600.
