Arm wrestler thanks Airdrie, asks for help

Dear Editor,

Although Aug. 11 saw a car show and other events happening in Airdrie, I would like to thank all the residents of Airdrie that stopped by the M&M Meat Shops to buy a burger and/or hot dog to support me in my quest to go to Brazil for the World Arm Wrestling Championships this September.

I am continuing to raise money through a social bottle drive on Twitter and Facebook. I would gratefully appreciate a donation of a bag of bottles and/or cans so I can reach my goal of 100 bags from Airdrie and area by Sept. 5. If you would like to assist me in my goal, please give me a call at 403-862-8643 and I will drive to your place to pick it up.
