Thank you Airdrie residents

Sep 20, 2012 02:03 pm

Dear Editor,

While walking my little dog in Coopers Crossing at about noon on Sept. 16, two large dogs without owner or collars ran up and jumped my dog.

Two separate vehicles stopped to help. They were honking and shouting at the dogs and scared them off. There was a gentleman in one car and a couple in the other.

They made sure that we were alright and the couple even insisted on driving us out of the area so that we would not encounter the loose dogs again.

I did not get the names of these good people but my dog, Rosie, and I would like to thank you for helping a stranger. It really renews my faith in humanity and is the reason that Airdrie is a great place to live.

Evelyn Salmon, Airdrie
