Local 4-H Beef Club Invites Communication Competition
4-H News:
This February, the local Airdrie 4-H Beef Club will be hosting their annual communications competition, consisting of both public speaking and presentations. All 23 members of the club will compete in three different categories: Junior, ages 9-11 years, Intermediate, ages 12-14, and Senior, ages 15 and above. The event has always been a magnificent way for young people to learn the valuable life skill of presenting and defending their ideas in front of an audience.
Would you like to come watch these young speakers present on topics they are passionate and excited about? Come to the GoldenRod Community Hall west of Airdrie on the corner of Highways 567 and 772 at 12 noon on Saturday, February 9, 2013. Hope to see you there for an afternoon of food, fun and expression through speech and presentation!
