Parks a mess due to irresponsible pet owners

Dear Editor,

I would like to commend the City of Airdrie for the way they try to keep our city attractive with flower beds, trees trimmed grass cut etc., but the dog owners of this city are disgusting.

Nobody picks up behind their dogs and when you walk down the paths, it would almost turn your stomach as all there is dog (poop).

It’s the same with the flower beds.

You can only hope the people that plant them wear protective clothing as every dog in the area has urinated in them.

May I suggest either raising dog licenses considerable or hiring dog police to hand out large fines?

If anyone thinks I’m exaggerating, just walk the paths of Kings Heights it’s like being in a third-world country.
