Thank you for the help with my car

Dear Editor,

I would like to express my gratitude to two people who assisted me in “acts of kindness.” My car broke down on Highway 9 last Friday morning at a very inconvenient time. (You don’t want your car to breakdown on Fridays and the weekend).

Too much to my chagrin I needed a new alternator for my car and I was not going to go anywhere. I called and booked an appointment to an auto repair facility in Airdrie. To the driver who picked me and my dog up and drove me to my home to Irricana ... Thank you so much.

Then I just remembered who had a lot of Saturn Model parts. Frank Dusome at his auto body shop in Irricana.

I called him up and he offered me a used alternator for almost next to nothing.

I then called the auto repair facility in Airdrie to cancel the appointment.

The car was towed to Frank’s facility and repaired on the spot.

The tow bill set me back about $200, however, Frank saved me a lot of money and inconvenience that the breakdown has caused and I again offer Frank Dusome my thanks and gratitude for his assistance for me.

Once again ... for the driver who picked me up and to Frank Dusome ... thank you so much.
