Dear Editor,

This letter is in regard to the letter last week by D. Forest. I agree with D. Forest. My husband and I are not seniors but we recycle and have very little garbage.

How can you institute a program after so little consultation with the people of Airdrie?

Then you threaten us with a fine if we don’t use the bins. I would rather have seen the money go towards hiring two more RCMP officers. Calgary waited until they had over a million people before they brought in organic recycling. Maybe we should take it to a vote.
