Dear Editor,

The Crossfield Fire Department would like to send a big thank you to everyone who assisted us in this year’s food drive.

We helped 36 families this year in our local area.

I would like to send a big thank you to the students and staff at Crossfield Elementary and WG Murdoch schools for their help this year. They helped fill two fire trucks worth of food and toys.

I would also like to thank all the residents at the Crossfield Lodge and Dr. Whillan’s Manor for their food and money donations.

Our corporate and private citizens sponsors that assisted us this year again with their financial donations to our fund are also greatly appreciated.

We at the Crossfield Fire Department are committed to our community and wish everyone the very best in 2014.

Thank you Crossfield and area for your continued support of us and this program, together we can make a difference.

Ben Niven,

Fire Chief for the Town of Crossfield
