AHS needs to do the right thing to help Airdrie family

Dear Editor,

It seems the Alberta Government (Alberta Health Services) has done it again, another official using the rules to ensure a family has a rough time. The one-year waiting list - it is unreasonable that the government cannot bend the rules. The amount AHS would have to pay is a drop in the ocean of money, that is wasted by AHS.

If this was happening to a government official or agent they would find a way. Legal or otherwise, let’s do the right thing. Let’s have some good news out of government for once, show us you are here to help, not hurt.
