Donna’s daughter, Sandy, who so generously donates her beautiful quilts for our yearly fund raiser raffle, has recently been named ‘Quilter of Distinction’ in the Airdrie quilt guild.
The tickets will be out soon for our Christmas raffle. There will be a Pumpkin Patch Tea and Quilt Show at the Griffiths Centre from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 30 (breakfast will not be available that day).
The family dance at the Flare & Derrick on Saturday was well attended and so much fun. Kids and adults, alike, had a great time, and the music was fabulous.
Plan to attend the Griffiths Centre’s membership meeting at 3 p.m. on Oct. 7. Following the meeting will be a Happy Hour and an Octoberfest dinner. Dinner tickets for members are available during the breakfast hours on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
