We are planning a trip to the Windmill Theatre’s presentation of Anne of Green Gables on Nov. 30. Stop by and put your name on the sign-up sheet before it gets filled up.
Also, Nana Mouskouri is coming to the Grey Eagle on May 5.
There is a sign-up sheet on the board.
If we want tickets we need to get them soon as they will be sold out quickly. Ticket prices range from $59 to $79.
Dale is trying to put together a Grey Eagle casino trip for November as well.
We will have confirmation this week.
Don’t forget the general meeting on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m.
Our new sign is in place. This concludes the facelift for our beautiful building.

Further to last weeks’ ramble about fall colors, the red colour is actively made in leaves by light and cold.
The crisp, cold nights in the fall, combined with bright sunny days, spurs production of red in leaves, especially sugar maples.
Burgundy leaves are often the result of red pigment and chlorophyll.
Autumn seasons with a lot of sunny days and cold nights will have the brightest colors.
