Town councillor, chiropractor, and musician – Dr. Ed Sands wears several hats in the community.
While often found behind one of his many guitars, Sands plays a number of instruments, including bass guitar, fiddle, and even a Bodhrán (Celtic drum).
Beyond his personal endeavors, Sands has been instrumental in the organization of various events, including various Dewdney Players productions as well as the Acoustic Christmas Concert, which benefits the Okotoks Food Bank Association.
