Fire Department responds to another carbon monoxide incident

City awards FCSS funding

Six of Airdrie’s social agencies will continue to receive Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) funding after Airdrie City council unanimously approved the recommendation of the Community Services Advisory Board (CSAB) to allocate a total of $762,548 in FCSS funding to these agencies in 2015 at their meeting on Nov. 17.

Airdrie RCMP arrest man after pursuit on rural roads

A man from Rimbey driving a stolen truck was finally stopped by Airdrie Rural RCMP and the Airdrie Integrated Traffic Unit (ITU) near Cochrane on Oct. 31 after he led officers on a pursuit through farmers’ fields and down gravel roads, according to Airdrie RCMP Media Liaison Constable Jason Curtis.
