Fire vs. RCMP hockey game in Beiseker raises $500 for Legacy Place Society

A friendly hockey game between Beiseker firefighters and local RCMP officers took place in the village on March 13. The Mounties won the game, which also raised $500 for Legacy Place Society, a charity that provides transitional housing to firefighters, soldiers, veterans, and emergency medical services personnel.

The Mounties won the game, which also raised $500 for Legacy Place Society, a charity that provides transitional housing to firefighters, soldiers, veterans, and emergency medical services personnel.

The game was preceded by a weekend of training exercises for Beiseker Fire Services' 80-plus members, including a vehicle extrication exercise on March 12.
