Airdrie Rural RCMP seeks public assistance in identifying break-in suspect

"The resident saw an unknown male inside of the garage with a firearm," read an RCMP press statement. "However, the suspect fled on foot before [the RCMP's] arrival."

Airdrie Rural RCMP are looking for the public's assistance in locating a man suspected of breaking in to a Crossfield home on Oct. 8 at approximately 5:58 a.m. The RCMP detachment responded to a call from a Crossfield resident who was alerted by their security system of their garage door being opened. 

"The resident saw an unknown male inside of the garage with a firearm," read an RCMP press statement. "However, the suspect fled on foot before [the RCMP's] arrival."

Currently, the suspects whereabouts are not known to the police. The suspect is described as male; having a light complexion, medium build; wearing a two tone hooded sweatshirts, green head lamp, glove and a black toque; and having light coloured facial hair.
