Students at C.W. Perry School dumped buckets of water on Airdrie RCMP Cst. Gabrielle Spencer June 12 as past of the Spartan Summer Splash fundraiser.
The event raised money for the Leadership Academy initiatives at the school, according to the RCMP release, and gave staff and students the chance to celebrate the end of the school year.
This day featured many different options, according to RCMP, including a dunk tank, inflatable games and obstacle courses, and summer backyard games and activities.
"It was a great day and the students raised $2,700,” Spencer said. “The kids and I had a blast, although I think they were a little too eager to dump water on my head."
