Having served as the assistant principal of Heloise Lorimer School since it opened in 2016, Barry Anderson will move into the role of principal of Beiseker Community School this fall, according to a Rocky View Schools (RVS) press release.

Joining the jurisdiction in 1996 as a science teacher at Bert Church High School, RVS stated, throughout the years Anderson has served as an assistant principal at Kathyrn, Crossfield Elementary and Heloise Lorimer, while teaching various subjects in the sciences, math, French and outdoor education.

“An accomplished school administrator, Anderson brings a wealth of experience to Beiseker School in the areas of instructional leadership, student assessment, learning technologies, building school culture, internal communication, education plan development, building maintenance and human resource management,” the release read.

“Known for his ability to build solid relationships with students, staff and parents, recently Anderson has led several mental-health and wellness initiatives to support the ongoing needs of his school community.”

Anderson, according to RVS, obtained his master of education from the University of Calgary and a bachelor of education from the University of Alberta.
