No injuries as a result of fiery crash near Didsbury

The tractor trailer unit involved in the accident was a complete loss, according to RCMP

A fiery blaze resulted in the loss of semi truck, but no injuries on Friday. According to police, Didsbury RCMP received a report of a semi tractor trailer unit on fire on the QE II Highway near Township Road 294 near Didsbury at around noon on June 21. Upon arrival, the driver of the semi was able to detach his load however the tractor unit was a complete loss. Fire departments from Carstairs and Crossfield responded to the fire and we able to extinguish the blaze. There were no injuries reported.
