On May 30 at about 6:30 p.m., Airdrie rural RCMP responded to the sudden death of a 43-year-old woman on an acreage northeast of CrossIron Mills mall. Cst. Rob Frizzell said the death was deemed 100 per cent non-suspicious in nature.

As was extensively reported last week, the government of Alberta announced that four new schools will be built in our constituency to be opened by 2014.

The pathway around East Lake will be renamed the Tim Harriman Legacy Loop during a dedication ceremony on June 15. Harriman was a longtime resident of Airdrie who battled cancer four times in his short life.
