Missing woman located in Bow River, "undetermined injuries" reported

A 65-year-old Cochrane woman has been taken to a Calgary hospital after being retrieved from the Bow River by emergency services earlier this morning, according to a press release issued by Cochrane RCMP.

A 65-year-old woman has been taken to a Calgary hospital after being retrieved from the Bow River by emergency services, according to a press release issued by Cochrane RCMP.

The woman, a Cochrane resident, was reported missing by her family at around 6:30 a.m. May 27, the release said, wearing only a housecoat and slippers.

Retrieved alive and reported to have "undetermined injuries," RCMP said the woman was rescued from the Bow River in Cochrane through the combined efforts of CPS Hawks, Cochrane Fire Services and RCMP police dog services.

Cochrane and Area Victim Services is providing assistance to the family, the release added, and no further details will be released.
