Thursday brings cool, wet weather to Rocky View County

Rocky View County will experience cool, wet weather across the municipality on Thursday, according to AccuWeather.

Cochrane is in store for a chilly day, with a high of 8 C and "considerably cloudiness." Nine millimetres of precipitation is anticipated throughout the day, but skies will clear into the evening. Overnight, the temperature will drop to a brisk -4 C.

Mainly cloudy skies are also in the forecast for the Springbank area, which will see a high of 8 C along with periodic rain showers. Some of the cloud cover will reduce into the evening, leaving clearer skies with a low of -2 C.

Rain is predicted for the Dalroy area as well, along with a high of 10 C and winds gusting up to 30 kilometres per hour. Overnight, skies will become clear to partly cloudy, as the thermostat dips to a low of 1 C.

Indus will see primarily cloudy skies, with a little rain and steady winds. The cloud cover will decrease later in the day, becoming mainly clear overnight with a temperature of 0 C.
