Dear Editor,
It would be great to see a section in the local newspaper include ways to keep our city clean. It has caught my attention that the litter throughout this area has been increasing. It is apparent to see garbage such as plastics, paper, cardboard, et cetera behind stores, parking lots, home gardens and, especially, near green spaces such as parks.
If you could mention the impacts littering has on the environment, I'm sure it will reduce the amount of litter. Even a small practise such as being mindful of the environment would help make an impact.
We should see people help clean the environment and help make a difference. Let's return Airdrie back to its clean beauty.
