The Beiseker Community Centre hosted a formal tea and gathering on Oct. 30 to celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away in early September.
The event was hosted thanks to a federal grant commemorating 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. According to a Government of Canada news release earlier this year, the monarch served as a "constant presence in the lives of many Canadians” and cultivated “enduring ties with Canada.”
