Chris Shearer, a 56-year-old Drumheller resident, accused of assaulting an 80-year-old man at the Beiseker Centex gas station on Jan. 5 had his case adjourned in court until Feb. 29.

“If we don’t spruce it up, it is kind of an eyesore,” Coun. Warren Wise stated.

“It was very rewarding to have the first showhome completed as that was one of the biggest challenges we have faced to date,” Pinckney said. 

According to the STARS Air Ambulance X, (formerly known as Twitter), feed, STARS has dispatched one of its helicopters to the Beiseker.

“Budget-wise we’re on par, and that's kudos to council,” Mayor Ledoyen said, “but even more importantly kudos to our CAO, who has been with us for quite some time.”

The Beiseker Quilt Guild has been in existence for over thirty years. Membership has ranged from as low as three to as high as twenty, today the active membership sits at fourteen.

Beiseker is looking for a few good-hearted men and women to help out as snow angels this winter. Those interested in becoming volunteers or those wishing to sign up for some shovelling help can register at here or by email at reccoordinator@beiseker.

Community Christmas activities will keep both the young and old of Beiseker entertained on Dec. 2 at Christmas in the Village.

While the Crossfield Christmas hamper program has seen a steady increase of hamper requests, organizers in Irricana haven't noticed an impact.
