The St. Albert Cruisers
The St. Albert Cruisers is a classic car club with members from St. Albert, Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and the surrounding area. The group is structured to help classic car lovers share their passion, meet new friends and enjoy cruising in and showing off beautiful cars. Alberta All British Motoring Society
In the 1980s a group of British Car aficionados decided to introduce the concept of the British Field Meet to Alberta. The celebration of British motoring culture was a hit; the club and events grew year over year. Central Alberta Vintage Auto Club
In 1965, Charlie Parker and Dale Saby formed a small club to celebrate a shared interest in classic cars. Twenty guests showed up for the first meet and the club grew steadily from there. Still in motion 57 years later, the Central Alberta Vintage Auto Club continues to grow. The ultimate goal is to “Foster and widen interest in restoring and preserving antique and special interest motor vehicles, their accessories and associated items, and to encourage fellowship among members and their families in a social setting.” Learn more here.
Mainstreet Cruisers
“Let the good times roll” is the motto of the Mainstreet Cruisers. This Edmonton club just celebrated it’s 29th annual show and shine. One of the less formal clubs, you don’t even need a vehicle to become a member. All you need is a love all things automotive, Vehicles owned and showed by members include classics, modern muscle cars, hot rods, rat rods, trucks and even motorcycles.
Edmonton Classic Sports Car Club
All sports cars are welcome in the Edmonton Classic Sports Car Club, from older models to completely modified and everything in between. As noted rather cheekily on their website, the cars are the real club members and their drivers can be anyone that loves, hates or aspires to own a classic sports car. They admit, “we even recognize coupes!” Members have been welcomed into the Edmonton Classic Sports Car Club for 50+ years.
These are just a handful of the many car clubs across Alberta. From vintage to new, from car owners to those that would simply love cars, there is a club ready for you to join.
