Airdrie first responders on scene near Dalroy after 'serious' rural collision involving two vehicles

The RCMP has asked the public to avoid the area while crews remain on scene. 
Airdrie RCMP secured the area after human remains were found east of Airdrie on May 4.

Airdrie RCMP officers and other first responders are currently on-scene at a motor vehicle collision that took place this afternoon near Dalroy and Delacour and resulted in "serious injury," according to the detachment.

An email from the detachment states that at approximately 2 p.m. on June 6, RCMP and EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision along Highway 9 and Highway 564.

"Two vehicles were involved in the collision with one of them being a semi-truck," stated the release, adding that multiple people have been injured.

The RCMP has asked the public to avoid the area while crews remain on scene.
