Airdrie residents received generous food donations on May 12

With approval from the City, the organizations hope to make this a recurring event.

Airdrie residents in need filled up on groceries over the weekend as the Calgary Guru Nanak Free Kitchen and local Sikh community lent a helping hand.

Meats, dairy, vegetables, ice cream and more was handed out to around 700 people at the City of Airdrie Town Hall and the ATB parking lot.

With approval from the City, the organizations hope to make this a recurring event.
