George McDougall High School students, parents and faculty came together on May 23 to celebrate Grad 2024.
The event took place at the Genesis Place Field House, and featured all the pomp and circumstance such an event usually entails, from the flipping of the tassel, to the handing out of diplomas, and, of course, inspirational speeches and words of encouragement as the graduating 2024 Mustangs get set to enter the next stages of their lives post-high school.
The theme for George McDougall's 2024 graduating class was "Not All Who Wander Are Lost," referencing a quote by J.R.R. Tolkien. The quote was in reference to the idea the grads should be intrepid and not be afraid to explore as they move forward in their lives and careers.
