The Airdrie Food Bank was recently presented with more than $50,000 from Astoria Management, which raised funds for the organization through its 12th annual Charity Golf Tournament Aug. 22 and donations collected online.

“The support provided to the food bank to those we serve through the annual Astoria golf tournament has a significant impact on the work we do in our community...Lorelei, Darrell and the Astoria team have truly made a difference in the lives of countless individuals in our community," said Lori McRitchie, executive director with the Airdrie Food Bank. "Please know, Astoria Management Team, we couldn’t do what we do without you. We’d also like to thank the sponsors, donors and attendees of the golf tournament for their continued support over the years.”

Over the past 10 years, Astoria has raised a total of nearly $300,000 to support the food bank's programs and services within the community.
