George McDougall High School's 14th 'Ride of the Mustang' has come to an end with a closing ceremony held on March 28.
This year, 30 teams raised a total of $45,635.
Teams of students gathered in the gym for the annual fundraiser starting on March 26 and rode stationary bikes over three days.
How much was raised this year has yet to be announced, although the goal was $50,000.
Last year they raised close to $60,000 for the Alberta Children's Hospital.
The first fundraiser event in 2011 was a result of a student from the high school being diagnosed with cancer.
Over the 14 years of doing the event, over $1 million has been fundraised towards the Alberta Children's Hospital oncology unit.
