The Airdrie and District Agricultural Society usually plants a garden on their land west of Airdrie in conjunction with the "Art of the Harvest" event. During the "Art of the Harvest" in September, these vegetables were sold to attendees and then the remainder was donated to the food bank. This year a donation of a $1,000 was given to the Airdrie Food along with over 1,500 pounds of potatoes, turnips and pumpkins, squash and zucchini.
