Airdrie man charged with drug trafficking to minors

The Airdrie RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) has arrested one man for drug trafficking after raiding two residences back in late February.

Airdrie RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit executed search warrants at two Airdrie residences. RCMP located Psilocybin, oxycodone, and cannabis. 

Aiden Pearze McNair, 18, of Airdrie has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and selling cannabis to a minor and possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking in contravention of the federal Cannabis Act. 

McNair has also been charged with two counts of breaching a probation order and three counts of breaching a court release order.

The accused, McNair, is currently on release with conditions. He will next appear in Airdrie at the Alberta Court of Criminal Justice on May 16.
