Airdrie RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying a male suspect after an elderly male was assaulted at a business located in the 500 block of 2 Avenue. SE Airdrie.
On May 4, 2024, an elderly male reported to Airdrie RCMP that he had been assaulted by an unknown male the day prior at approximately 4:55 p.m.
The victim reported that he was in a front entrance to a local Airdrie business when the suspect walked through, told the victim to get out of his way and pushed him to the ground.
The suspect then proceeded to kick the victim as he lay on the floor.
The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of this assault.
The male suspect is described as:
- Fair complexion
- Believed to be approximately 6 feet tall and 200 pounds
- Was wearing a dark jacket, graphic shirt and a backwards ballcap.
