It should be fairly nice weather ahead as local residents get set to celebrate Easter weekend.
According to Environment Canada, there is a 60 per cent chance of flurries on Good Friday with daytime temperatures around -5 C, but Saturday and Sunday should see sunny skies and warmer temperatures.
Unfortunately, temperatures could drop to as low as -18 C again overnight Friday into Saturday morning before gradually warming through the day.
Saturday’s afternoon forecast calls for about 2 C as the daytime high, but on Easter Sunday temperatures should reach as high as 8 C.
Monday and Tuesday should also be sunny, with daytime temperatures of 9 C and 13 C respectively; although the forecast is also predicting partly cloudy skies on Tuesday.
