Eighty-two new cases of COVID-19 in Alberta; four more people die

The province announced Sunday there were 82 people confirmed to have COVID-19 since Saturday, bringing the total number of Albertans who have contracted the virus to 1,651.

Four more Albertans have died, bringing the province's total number of deaths to 44. Two people who died were residents of the McKenzie Towne continuing care facility in the Calgary zone. In total, 20 people have died at this facility. The other two were people at Manoir du Lac in the North zone, where a total of four people have now died.

Across the province, there are 44 people in hospital, 14 of which are in intensive care. Two hundred thirty-seven cases are thought to have been acquired in the community.
