Commuters continue to feel the pinch at the pumps.

According to statistics from gasbuddy.com, average prices in the Calgary area are above the 135.5 cents per litre mark for the first time since mid-October.

Gas prices saw a sharp increase at the beginning of January, dipped at the end of the month, were on a significant upward trajectory at the beginning of February and have since plateaued around 136 cents per litre on average.

Airdrie area prices have followed that trend and on Monday, Feb.12 you’ll be paying 136.9 at the pump at every station except for the UFA where prices are at the 129.9 mark and Gas Plus on Airdrie Road where the price is 34.9

Prices are the exact same at High River gas stations with some deals to be found in Calgary, although most stations are also sitting at that 136.9 mark.

Costco in Balzac is 131.9 and Gas Plus in Balzac is 133.9.
