Person of interest sought in hit-and-run incident

Airdrie RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a female person of interest who may have information in regards to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Coopers Drive, according to a Sept. 6 press release from the detachment.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. Aug. 25, a parked, grey Honda Civic was struck, causing damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle, the release stated. 

"A female, driving a Toyota Highlander, was seen in the area of the collision and subsequently stopped in front of the residence of the damaged vehicle before driving away," police said. "RCMP would like to contact her."
