RCMP investigate stolen credit and debit cards

Airdrie police are investigating the use of stolen credit and debit cards at local businesses, and hope the public can help identify a male and female suspect.

According to a press release from the RCMP, a wallet containing various credit and debit cards was stolen from a vehicle in the Yankee Valley Blvd. area sometime between 3 and 4 p.m. April 17. Later that day, video surveillance captured a man and woman using the stolen cards.

“The cards were used at East Lake Petro Canada between 6 and 7 p.m. and at the Co-op Gas Bar on 8 Street shortly after 9 p.m.,” the press release said.
