The Special Olympics Canada Winter Games Torch Run made a special stop at George McDougall High School this morning at 10 a.m.
Similarly, the run organization made a stop at Bert Church High School earlier the same morning to raise funds for the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games, which will kick off tonight in Calgary.
George McDougall and Bert Church High School were given the opportunity to be stops on the way to the opening ceremony due to being Unified Sports Schools, providing sport opportunities to students with special needs.
