Collard produced the eventual game-winning goal with a power-play marker at 16:39 of the third period.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never gave it up en route to victory, although the Huskies made it close, trailing by one goal on four different occasions.

Mathis Perron, Drew Lutz, Andrei Loshko, Antonin Verreault and Daniil Bourash had the goals for Rouyn-Noranda (13-5-5).

Huskies goaltender William Rousseau stopped 28 shots.

Goaltender Mathis Rousseau stopped 26 shots for Halifax (18-5-2).


BATHURST, N.B. — Joshua Fleming had a 29-save shutout as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan beat the Val-d'Or Foreurs.

Robert Orr, Matthew McRae, Louis-François Bélanger, Dylan Andrews and Ty Higgins scored Acadie-Bathurst (9-14-1).

Foreurs goaltender Émile Beaunoyer stopped 17 of 20 shots, while Mathis Lussier saved seven of nine shots for Val d'Or (6-16-1).


GATINEAU, Que. — Charles Boutin knocked in the game-winning goal at 3:57 in the overtime period as the Gatineau Olympiques edged the Victoriaville Tigres.

Jérémie Minville scored twice while Justin Blais and Sander Wold scored once for Gatineau (8-15-3) in regulation. Olympiques netminder Zach Pelletier saved 17 of 21 shots.

Justin Larose and Tommy Cormier each scored twice for Victoriaville (13-6-3). Tigres netminder Gabriel D'Aigle saved 29 of 34 shots.


SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Jacob Mathieu knocked in the game-winning goal 58 seconds into the overtime period for his second of the game as the Rimouski Océanic edged the Shawinigan Cataractes.

Maël St-Denis also scored twice while Dominic Pilote and Tyson Goguen scored once for Rimouski (13-10-2). Océanic netminder Vincent Filion saved 23 of 28 shots.

Jordan Tourigny, Alexis Bonefon, Natan Éthier, Lou-Félix Denis and Jan Sprynar all scored once for Shawinigan (8-13-2).

Cataractes goaltender Rémi Delafontaine stopped 22 of 28 shots.


BOISBRIAND, Que. — Raphaël Précourt earned a 28-save shutout as Chicoutimi beat Blainville-Boisbriand.

Emmanuel Vermette and Émile Guité each scored twice while Émile Duquet, Nathan Lecompte and Loic Usereau also scored for Chicoutimi (12-9-4). 

Edouard Gauthier saved 33 of 40 shots for Blainville-Boisbriand (12-11-2).
