HUTCHINSON, Glen “Barrie”

November 26, 1944 – Vermilion, Alberta

September 3, 2022 – Irricana, Alberta

 

Glen “Barrie” Hutchinson of Irricana, AB, passed peacefully with his loving family by his side, after a short battle with cancer, on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the age of 77 years.

 

His laughter, love and shared memories will remain forever in our hearts.

 

Besides his loving wife of 36 years Audrey, Barrie is survived by his four children, Deanna (Bruce) Becker of Hope, BC, Coralee Curby of White Rock, BC, Robin (Lisa) Reesik of Fort McMurray, AB, and Rachelle (Dave Keeping) Reesik of Fort McMurray, AB; and seven grandchildren, Kameryn and Brysen Becker, Kenzie and Carter Curby, Chloe and Drayton Reesik and Gavin Sheppard.

 

Barrie is also survived by his sisters, Doris (Richard) Bittner of Edmonton, AB and Doreen Green of Cochrane, AB; his brother Wesley (Kathy) Hutchinson of Strathmore, AB; his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews, and many many friends.

 

Barrie was predeceased by parents Glen and Catherine Hutchinson, his brothers Robert, Victor and Lyle, his in-laws Roger and Jose Dakin, paternal grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Irricana Lions Community Hall (300 – 1st Street, Irricana, AB) on Saturday, September 17th, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
