Valery G. Senger, affectionately known as Val, passed away peacefully with his family around him, on May 30, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 14, 1952, in Empress, Alberta, Val's 70 years were filled with love, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community.
Val is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Shirley Senger (nee van Ringen), and their three devoted children, Lindsay, Angela, and Mackenzie (Sydney)Senger. Papa to Colten, Harley, Brynn, and Madison, and 9 brothers and sisters and extended family. Val's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
