Anyone looking to develop leadership skills, improve their public speaking or provide mentorship to local youth can take advantage of opportunities offered by Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta (JASAB).

The audience at Bert Church LIVE Theatre will be treated to the sounds of Newfoundland when Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers bring their blend of music and comedy to Airdrie one final time Oct. 16.

A new award – the Franchise Business award – will be handed out at the Airdrie Business Awards Gala Oct. 18, according to executive director of the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce (ACC) Marilyne Aalhus.
