The City of Airdrie has moved its Canada Day fireworks’ celebration to East Lake Park.

The event will still take place at 10 p.m. and the move away from Nose Creek Park is to provide more seating and space for residents, according to Jill Iverson, City spokesperson.

There will be additional parking for people at East Lake Park and is available at Genesis Place, Rob Ebbesen Arena, Grace Baptist Church and the Scout Hall.
