A redesignation to create a Local Commercial District in Conrich was unanimously approved by Rocky View County council at a regular meeting on Feb. 25.
According to planner Jessica Anderson, the application will facilitate future development and a possible subdivision at the site, located at the junction of Township Road 250 and Logistics Parkway. The subject lands are located within the Conrich Area Structure Plan and the Conrich Station Conceptual Scheme.
Services like access, water, wastewater and stormwater are expected to be developed in conjunction with the adjacent lands as per the conceptual scheme, Anderson noted, which envisions a fully-serviced business park.
Couns. Mark Kamachi and Jerry Gautreau were absent from the vote.
