Residents will have the opportunity for some face-time with Rocky View County (RVC) Reeve Greg Boehlke at two upcoming open houses.

Rocky View County (RVC) has implemented a protection program aimed to help residents avoid flood and fire disasters. The Fire and Flood Home Protection Program (FFHPP) is a free program available to RVC residents.

An upcoming workshop aims to educate Rocky View County (RVC) farmers about ways to get the most out of their fields. “This is something we created out of demand from our members” said Sandra Bloom, communications and environmental coordinator with FFGA.

Funds represent about $350 per child for the upcoming school year

A planned expansion of the Polaris Centre for the Performing Arts will mean increased seating capacity and additional amenities. A building permit from Rocky View County for the project was approved Aug. 11. The expansion is slated for this fall.

Although schools will be different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lunch remains an essential part of every student’s day.
