A proposed telecommunication tower in Springbank was rejected by Rocky View County (RVC) councillors last month, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the project is dead in the water. 

Due to new COVID-related restrictions implemented by the Alberta Government on Dec. 21, Century Downs Racetrack and Casino has cancelled its burlesque dance performance and fireworks show that was slated for New Year's Eve.
