Some well owners in west Langdon were left frustrated after a development in the community may have inadvertently impacted their access to water.

On July 24, Nathaniel Sarabura stopped at the Gas Plus in Langdon and filled the tank of his compact Mazda 3 with $46 worth of regular-grade gasoline. Or so he thought.

After heightened security costs initially jeopardized the event, the annual Langdon Days celebration will officially be moving ahead this summer after all.

Langdon’s new baseball diamonds will officially be called Iron Horse Fields, after Rocky View County (RVC) council approved the recreational facility’s name at their May 25 regular meeting.

The community of Langdon is in luck, as Rocky View County (RVC) council voted to pursue the development of a library in the hamlet on April 27.
