A newly released documentary series is highlighting Langdon's volunteer firefighting department. Langdon's Heroes was released on Nov. 16.

The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is confirming it is investigating a homicide after human remains were found inside a burning vehicle near Langdon.

According to an update from Alberta RCMP, the deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Trong Minh Nguyen, a resident of Langdon and former gang member of the FOB in Calgary.
