Two Crossfield residents with a desire to give back to those on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic have teamed up to spearhead a school support card program to show appreciation to health care workers this fall.

At just 19 years old, incoming Town councillor Luke Brennan is officially Crossfield’s youngest-ever council member.

The newly acclaimed council for the Town of Crossfield was introduced to the public on Oct. 13, during a virtual meet-and-greet. 

A new convenience store open 24 hours a day, seven days a week is now open for business in Crossfield.

On Oct. 22, the Town of Crossfield will be hosting its popular pumpkin hunt event, providing a chance for local kids to find and keep their own jack-o-lantern, take home some treats, win prizes, and dress up in their favourite costumes.

Crossfield was host to its annual farmer's market including a variety of vendors offering handcrafted goods, fresh produce, and more on Oct. 2.

The Crossfield Chamber of Commerce has announced a new program to promote spending at local businesses.

The Town of Crossfield will acclaim seven council candidates, including a newly appointed mayor on Oct. 18, following an extended nomination period resulting in a lack of candidates registered for the municipal election.

Due to a lack of candidates registered, the Town of Crossfield has extended the nomination deadline for the upcoming municipal election.
